Partnership for Excellence

The 2024 Partnership for Excellence brought together leaders from across Santa Barbara County’s social sector to build relationships and explore ideas, strategies, skills, and connections that enhance organizations, our work, and our communities. Networking opportunities were available throughout the day - at morning coffee hour, lunch outside on the terrace, and at the Nonprofit-Funder social hour at the end of day.

The programming focused on evidence-based fundraising with a practical, interactive keynote session with Cassie Carter of Campbell & Company. The afternoon Funder-Nonprofit Dialogue featured three foundations and three nonprofit executives in conversation about successes and future trends in  fundraising and leadership. Ninety six percent of survey respondents agreed the PFE theme was useful for their work - and over 330 specific takeaways were named by participants. 

With 238 guests hosted in the Santa Ynez Valley, PFE achieved the highest mid- and north county attendance in over a decade.!
